Tom Boots, M. A., CEO
 
Tom Boots is an organizational development consultant and executive coach with more than 17 years of experience leading and implementing strategic human capital efforts in private industry and throughout the Federal Government.  Tom's areas of expertise include leadership development, succession management, executive coaching, human capital strategic planning, employee development, performance management, training, assessment, and competency modeling. Tom is trained as a behavioral psychologist and holds a Master's degree in Human Development from the University of Kansas.  He has worked with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Genzyme, QinetiQ NA, Dalworth Carpet Cleaning, ePlus Inc., U.S. Office of Personnel Management, United States Air Force, Transportation Security Administration, The American Institute of Architects, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), US Army Corps of Engineers/Engineer Research and Development Center, and others. 
 
When serving as a coach, Tom’s background in behavior analysis and consulting enables him to help individuals clarify and leverage their motivations and increase their chances of aligning personal and organizational goals, pinpointing behaviors that lead to success, and improving communication and other critical skills.  He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries and with diverse personal and technical backgrounds. 
 
Deanna Banks, Ph. D., President
 
Deanna Banks is an industrial/organizational psychologist who is passionate about helping leaders develop and perform to their full potential. Deanna has nearly 20 years of experience in human capital consulting with specialized expertise in executive coaching, leadership and team development, talent management, employee engagement, organizational assessment, multi-rater feedback, instructional design and performance management. Before establishing an independent practice, she worked in research organizations investigating best practices in leadership development and in consulting firms as a director of organizational development services.
 
Deanna designs and delivers leadership and team development programs. She has significant experience in all phases of the instructional design process (e.g., conducting needs analyses, designing and developing instructional content, implementing learning programs, evaluating program effectiveness). She is experienced in designing and debriefing leadership and team assessments, including multi-rater feedback instruments. She also develops and facilitates strategic leadership and team offsites.
 
Deanna is an executive coach who supports the development of organizational leaders through feedback, challenge, and support. In addition to providing coaching for commercial and government clients, Deanna serves as an executive coach for the Robert H. Smith School of Business’ Executive MBA program. She also has significant experience with organizational assessment, diagnosis, and action planning, competency modeling, and performance management.
 
Deanna has worked with organizations such as McCormick, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, L3 Communications, SAIC, ManTech International, SRA International, Mitretek, America Online, and Time Warner. She speaks at national conferences and publishes on leadership-related topics.
 
Felicity Tagliareni, Ph. D., Consulting Partner
 
Felicity Tagliareni is an industrial/organizational psychologist with over 20 years of experience in human capital consulting. Felicity has significant experience working with senior leadership and HR professionals who want to develop effective leaders, engage their employees and align their organizations with key strategies. Felicity has worked with Freddie Mac, America Online, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the Federal Aviation Administration, ManTech, Cable & Wireless, Corporate Finance Corporation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Intelsat, MCI, Mobil Oil, the Office of Personnel Management, PepsiCo’s Restaurant Services Group, SRA, and the U.S. Army Special Forces.  Felicity holds a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the George Washington University.
 
Wendy Mack, M.A., Consulting Partner
 
Wendy Mack specializes in the design and delivery of custom leadership development, change, communication, and train-the-trainer programs. She brings over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of learning & leadership development and has worked with clients in the consumer products, manufacturing, high-tech, non-profit, and government services industries.
 
Since becoming an independent consultant in 2001, Wendy has developed and delivered leadership training programs for rising, mid-level, and executive leaders. To date, her workshops and programs have helped more than 20,000 leaders gain the self-awareness and skills needed to engage, align, and energize employees. In addition, Wendy has designed and facilitated offsites aimed at helping her clients determine their strategic direction, identify goals, and improve teamwork and communication. As an experienced facilitator, Wendy has also worked with numerous in-house trainers to improve their presentation and classroom management skills.
 
Before founding her own consulting practice, Wendy was Director of Training and Development Services for HumanR. In this capacity, she led a team of consultants who developed and delivered customer service, performance management, sales, interviewing, and new hire training programs. Wendy also facilitated focus groups, conducted and analyzed exit interviews, and designed employee surveys.
 
Wendy is also the author of numerous books and articles on the topics of change, communication, and leadership. She is an active member of the National Speakers Association and the International Association of Business Communicators.
 
Alice Buchanan, M. A., Consulting Partner
 
With over 10 years’ experience as an Organizational Development consultant, Alice's focus is on helping organizations achieve results through their people. Alice designs and facilitates leadership development programs to support each client’s overall people-development strategy. This includes strategic management and leadership development initiatives, management assimilation, career development programs, the MBTI®, performance management, and 360-degree coaching and feedback sessions. Alice is certified in the PDI 360 Profilor®, MBTI®, FIRO-B, and Facilitating Organizational Change (ASTD).
 
As a consultant, Alice has worked with commercial organizations as well as federal government agencies. These include such clients as AOL, Freddie Mac, Projection Presentation Technology, the United Negro College Fund Special Programs Institute, the Department of Homeland Security, the United States Geological Survey, the United States Patent & Trademark Office, and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
 
Alice has presented at conferences and universities on the subjects of learning and succession management. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Guilford College and a MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University.
 
Kristin Coker, M.A., Consulting Partner
 
For more than 17 years, Kristin Coker has earned a reputation for delivering high quality solutions as both an internal and an external organizational development consultant.  Kristin’s areas of expertise include human capital management, leadership development, mentoring programs, change management, employee engagement and assessment, performance management, competency modeling, learning managements systems (LMSs), and workforce planning.
 
Prior to starting her own consulting practice, Kristin worked as an internal OD professional in the financial/regulatory industry.  She designed and implemented the firm’s first mentoring program and its first online skills assessment.  Before working as an internal consultant, she served as the Director for Organizational Development Services for HumanR, a consulting firm in the Washington, DC area.
 
When working with organizations, Kristin leverages her knowledge of organizational dynamics, change management and culture to design a process as well as a solution that best fits the needs of the organization. 
 
Kristin holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from San Diego State University.  She has designed solutions for a diverse set of clients including the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), SAIC, ManTech, Sprint-Nextel, Sallie Mae, HBO, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, American Petroleum Institute, Fairfax County, AOL, and others.
